Hospital case managers, social workers and admissions staff visited Lucy Corr on Sept. 10 for the community's first networking event built for its referral partners. Team members in the Lucy Corr Foundation Dental Clinic were all smiles earlier this month when they accepted a jumbo-sized, $11,057 check from Central Virginia Dental Care, PLC. The funds will convert directly into exams, fillings and dentures for seniors who might not otherwise afford them. Retired teacher and librarian Jane Gibson Spain moved to Lucy Corr in 2009, before the Independent Living building existed. Independent Living residents traded Chesterfield County for the coast on Wednesday, Aug. 19, as they gathered in the Springdale Bistro for Lucy Corr's first-ever Beach Party.
