After decades of raising children, building communities and clearing the way for freedom and opportunity for our nation, the elderly among us deserve the opportunity for the final chapters of their lives to be lived with dignity.
The Lucy Corr Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of Lucy Corr residents, participants and their families and to help meet the emerging needs of seniors in the community. The projects and programs funded by the Foundation ensure that the elderly in our community live the final chapters of their lives in a secure, caring and engaging environment with the dignity they deserve.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Lucy Corr Foundation depends on contributions from foundations, corporations, small businesses and individuals to support the provision and enhancement of programs and services at Lucy Corr, a non-profit continuing care retirement community in Chesterfield County.

A $30,000 challenge matching grant from the Mary Morton Parson’s Foundation was met in December 2018, which funded a 20-passenger bus to transport residents to off-site opportunities for entertainment and enrichment. The match was accomplished by donations from Foundation Board members, the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors, Lucy Corr residents, area businesses, and a local church. The sweetest gift was a $10 contribution given by a ten-year-old out of his hard-earned allowance.
